GDPR

What is GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into full effect on the 25th May 2018 and gives individuals control and protection of their personal data.

Any business that process or holds personal data of EU residents and employees will be effected.

With data fast becoming one of the most valuable commodities, GDPR focuses on regulating its use and protecting personal information. It brings various country specific rules under one overarching regulation to be followed by all companies operating within the EU no matter how big or small.

What Can You Do?

Every business is different, but putting the plans in place now is vital in ensuring that your organisation is ready come the 25th May. Your business may need updated security controls, policies and procedures in place to demonstrate compliance.

Whilst there is no solution that can guarantee GDPR compliance, the Frontline Team have over 25 years’ experience managing customer data along with a proven information security accreditation (ISO 27001) to help your journey towards it.
