Last week, Frontline Consultancy had the privilege of attending the Directions for Partners EMEA 2025 Conference in Poznań, Poland. This event is always a highlight in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central calendar, and this year was no exception.
For me personally, this was my sixth Directions EMEA, and yet the energy, innovation, and collaboration within the Business Central community never fail to impress. Some might call me a Dynamics Dinosaur—after all, I’ve spent over 20 years working with Navision, NAV, and now Business Central. But unlike dinosaurs, this platform continues to evolve at an incredible pace. The new Business Central logo is a perfect symbol of its growing importance within Microsoft’s ecosystem.
Building Stronger Connections
One of the most valuable aspects of Directions is the opportunity to connect with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). This year, I focused on refreshing relationships with partners like Seer 365, Yavrio (Open Banking), TrueCommerce, Insightsoftware, Insight Works, and Continia Software, while also forging new links with Dynalogic and Arrow Cloud UK & Ireland. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces and meet new ones!
Balancing networking with attending the incredible sessions was a challenge there was so much great content from Microsoft experts and partners that I wanted to absorb.
Why ISV Partnerships Matter
At Frontline, we know that the core Microsoft solution covers around 90% of business processes, and we can tailor that remaining 10% to meet unique requirements. But why take on unnecessary technical debt? The mantra of Low Code, No Code is more relevant than ever especially with the rise of agents and automation.
That’s why leveraging third-party solutions is pivotal for efficiency and scalability. ISVs bring specialised functionality that complements Business Central, helping businesses stay agile without overcomplicating their systems.
The Future: AI and Automation
We’re particularly excited about the role of Agents and how they empower end users with automation and AI-driven productivity tools. This isn’t just about technology it’s about enabling smarter, more collaborative ways of working.
Directions EMEA 2025 reaffirmed what we already know: Business Central is not just a product, it’s a platform for innovation. At Frontline Consultancy, we’re ready to help businesses harness that potential, whether through core Microsoft capabilities or by integrating best-in-class ISV solutions.
