eWatch is an e-mail scanning service for inbound and outbound e-mail. The purpose of this service is to remove known viruses, malware and spyware, as well as reducing e-mail that is traditionally considered ‘junk e-mail’. The service detects any malicious code or attachments, and blocks the e-mail at this point, thereby protecting the internal network and destined member of staff.
Appropriate security is applied in layers, there is not a one size fits all solution to security, as such, Frontline’s range of ‘Watch’ services are designed to interlock seamlessly to provide the appropriate technical measures to cover your identified risk appetite.
Customers subscribed to the eWatch service have their e-mail continuously scanned (on a per-mailbox level) and are charged accordingly for each mailbox/e-mail address. Any malicious e-mail is blocked and an e-mail notification is automatically generated.
