We Are ISO Accredited!

Frontline are delighted to announce that we have recently achieved the ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 accreditation’s.

We had auditors from Alcumus ISOQAR on site last week and found out towards the end of the week that we had successfully passed. This has been a culmination of work from the Frontline team to ensure that our internal processes are aligned to these internationally recognised standards.

With these standards in place we are pleased to be able to reassure our customers and potential customers that we are trusted IT partners and look forward to a continued long-term working relationship.

About ISO

ISO started life in 1946 when delegates from 25 countries met to create a new international organisation ‘to facilitate the international coordination and unification of industrial standards’. The ‘International Organization for Standardization’ was shortened to ISO to account for translational differences between countries and ensure uniformity.

Frontline have been accredited to both ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards, so let’s take a closer look at what this actually means.

ISO 9001

ISO 9001 looks at ‘Quality’ with an aim to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The standards are designed to ensure that companies meet the needs of their customers and stakeholders whilst meeting statutory and regulatory requirements. Over one million companies worldwide are independently certified making ISO 9001 one of the most widely used management tools in the world, encouraging best practice and improving business performance.


Frontline Managed Services are committed to providing quality services and support to both new and existing customers alike. Following a consistent and professional approach across the entire Frontline team and with adherence to our managed controls, procedures and policies, Frontline are able to deliver high quality services and support in line with our contracts. To enforce and maintain these standards, each service and support contract is overseen by Frontline’s Service Delivery team whose processes and activities are also covered within this quality standard.

ISO 27001

ISO 27001 looks at ‘Information Security’ with the aim of securing a company’s data and protecting the business assets.

The standards cover information in all formats including: printed or written on paper, stored electronically, transmitted by post or email and spoken in conversation.

With data breaches hitting the headlines on what seems to be a weekly basis, by achieving the ISO 27001 accreditation Frontline are ensuring that access to data is appropriately authorised and protected minimising the possibility of an information security breach.


As a Managed Service Provider, Frontline and specifically the Managed Services team are committed to information security. Covering all forms of information security both for Frontline and our ‘Managed’ customers, we are committed to ensure that full consideration is given and communication provided around best practice and appropriate control for information security (as defined throughout our procedures). Application of supporting information security awareness and control is applied through presales, project management, transition into service and business as usual activity with a view to improving controls, where possible, under continual service improvement.”

Whilst there has been a significant amount of work put in to get us to this stage, this is just the start. Moving forward Frontline will be audited on an annual basis to ensure that we maintain adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 policies and procedures.
