SAP B1 Day 13th March
What does the introduction of the driving test in Great Britain, the comic strip Dennis the Menace first appearing in a newspaper and the opening of Charles de Gaulle airport have in common?
They all took place on the 13th March in 1935, 1951 and 1974 respectively. The 13th of March is also the date that SAP acquiredTopManage Financial Systems, which lead to the birth of SAP Business One as we now know it, the ERP software designed for SMEs.
SAP purchased TopManage on the 13th March 2002 as a way to offer business management software to the SME market. Today SAP Business One (SAP B1) is being used by over 44,000 small and midsized companies in over 150 different countries and is continuing to grow.
As we are soon approaching 13 years since SAP purchased TopManage I thought we could use this milestone in order to promote this fantastic business management software and launch SAP B1 Day.
If you are a reseller of SAP B1, an existing user or have any affiliation to SAP, then let’s work together to raise awareness of SAP Business One and the benefits it can provide to a growing SME. The 13th March 2015 is the perfect day to start this.
So how can you get involved? On Friday the 13th March 2015, when you are spreading the word of SAP Business One via your social media channels, just use #SAPB1Day. Let’s use this day to raise awareness of SAP Business One and promote the benefits. Who knows, maybe when SAP Business One reaches its 20th birthday in 2022, SAP B1 Day might be an internationally recognised event!
